would of thought this would be big news but so far i’ve only seen this on the financial times’ website. it seems to have been ignored by the mainstream u.s. media. business people will need to give 48 hours notice prior to flying to the u.s. the new law extends the visa waiver countries to include the czech republic, south korea, amongst a handful of others. apparently the new law does not apply to canada and mexico.
