david a. paterson, the first legally blind governor in the u.s., will be sworn in on monday as the new governor of new york, held a press conference on thursday. when asked if he had ever patronized a prostitute, he quipped, ‘just lobbyists.’

i’m a little disappointed that websites like BET and blackvoices.com have failed to feature patterson on their homepages. but i guess that’s because he’s not a rapper and he attended an ivy league school.
