newspaper industry spiraling out of control

the l.a. times, an organization with around 1200 bodies 10 years ago, now has about 700. and the editor -in-chief of the chicago tribune is gone. but no matter what they say, the u.s. still has a lot of quality journalists. unfortunately, many of them are out of a job.
